On a very rainy day there were fourteen games played. Ithaca (Section IV) broke three tied quarters to beat visiting Irondequoit 11-8. With 1:24 remaining in the first overtime period, Aaron Buck scored during a double man-up opportunity to secure a 13-12 win for the Churchville-Chili over Spencerport.

After three weeks of warm weather it was a little disheartening to have drizzle and cooler weather for the start of the game season. Three of the four games played in the section today were hosted at Aquinas. The first game of the season was Haverling-Haverling vs Mynderse Academy.

There were sixteen games played in the Section today and a number of very exciting ones including a 7-6 win for Fairport over Penfield with no time left on the clock. Haverling took Aquinas in double overtime and Marcus Whitman beat Mynderse in the first overtime period.

It was a long awaited match up and at the last moment, moved from Pittsford Mendon to St. John Fisher College, where the stands were nearly full. The Panthers scored five unanswered goals in the fourth quarter for secure a 9-4 win over Fairport.
